The first international cultural and educational conference with the participation of representatives of Transnistria, Abkhazia and South Ossetia was held on May 13 under the patronage of the State Service for Culture and Historical Heritage of the PMR.
According to the official representation of South Ossetia in Transnistria, the main goal of the conference, which was held online, was to establish creative cooperation between the educational institutions of an artistic orientation.
The event was attended by three educational institutions, one from each side. Among them are the A. Chachba Sukhum Art School (Abkhazia), the M. Tuganov Tskhinval Art School (South Ossetia) and the В. И.Postoikin Bendery Higher Art College (Transnistria).
The guests of the conference were diplomatic representatives of the republics. Head of the Official Representative Office of the Republic of South Ossetia in Transnistria Vitaly Yankovsky, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in Transnistria Alexander Vataman, Heads of the Official Representations of Transnistria in the Republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia Garry Kupalba and Alan Pliev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to the Republic of Abkhazia Oleg Botsiev, and also Minister of Culture of South Ossetia Zhanna Zasseeva.
The initiative to hold the conference was made by the rector of the Bendery Higher Art College Sergei Gorbachenko. During the conference, the leaders and teachers of these educational institutions spoke about the state of the fine arts in the republics, as well as artistic institutions. Representatives of each educational institution presented their business cards. Elena Adamenko, Deputy Head of the State Service for Culture and Historical Heritage of the PMR, spoke about the benefits of interaction with the art schools of the fraternal republics for Pridnestrovie.
At the end of the work, a final Resolution was adopted, in which it was noted that the goals of the conference on establishing creative cooperation between the educational institutions were basically achieved and the Participants declare the positive role and value of a lively dialogue based on a strategy of equal cooperation.
Based on the results of the conference dialogue, the participants unanimously adopted the following decisions:
- to support the implementation of cultural and educational projects aimed at promoting the interaction of educational institutions of the artistic orientation of the Republic of South Ossetia, the Republic of Abkhazia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic;
- to conclude agreements on cooperation between the educational institutions of artistic orientation of the Republic of South Ossetia, the Republic of Abkhazia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic
- to organize creative professional contests among teachers and students of educational institutions of artistic orientation of the Republic of South Ossetia, the Republic of Abkhazia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic;
- to organize the "Pedagogical Readings" for teachers of disciplines of the professional cycle of educational institutions of artistic orientation of the Republic of South Ossetia, the Republic of Abkhazia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic;
- to establish an exchange of students of educational institutions in the form of annual field plein-air practices;
- to organize creative professional online exhibitions of teachers and students.
