South Ossetia will mark the Day of Courage and National Unity

The events dedicated to the Day of Courage and National Unity will be held in South Ossetia. The Republican commission for the preparation and holding of the national events told IA "Res" that the Republic's educational institutions would hold thematic lessons and extracurricular activities dedicated to this day on November 21-22.

The anti-tank mine was discovered and destroyed in Tskhinval

The TM-57 anti-tank mine was discovered in Tskhinval, the South Ossetian Ministry of Emergency Situations press service reported on Wednesday.

The amunition was found during the construction work on Kozonov Street.

The sappers quickly arrived at the scene.

They carried out the necessary measures to safely remove the ammunition and transported it for subsequent destruction, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

The evening of the Abkhaz-Ossetian culture was held at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the press service of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.

As noted by the Ministry, the event was organized by the Diplomatic Academy's Youth Department as part of the International Friendship Club.

The evening was attended by Natalia Popova, Head of the Youth Department, and representatives of the embassies of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
