On Thursday, the 103 meeting in the format of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) operating within the framework of the Geneva discussions on security in the Transcaucasia is being held on the South Ossetian-Georgian border near the village of Ergnet, the IA “Res” was informed at the office of the Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement.
It was explained that during the meeting the parties will discuss issues related to the situation in the territories adjacent to the state border between South Ossetia and Georgia.
"The overview of incidents and accidents recorded since the last meeting of the IPRM will be presented, as well as the parties will discuss other topical issues related to security at the border," the plenipotentiary office said. The meeting is being held without media representatives, following the talks, journalists will be given a comment.
The meeting is attended by representatives of the Republic of South Ossetia, the Russian Federation, Georgia, as well as the EUMM and the OSCE representatives. The delegation of the Republic of South Ossetia at the meetings in the IPRM format is headed by Deputy Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy of the Republic of South Ossetia for post-conflict settlement Yegor Kochiev.
