In November, Ossetian fighters participating in Russia's special operation in Ukraine will receive another batch of humanitarian aid. According to MP Arsen Kvezerov, parliamentarians transfer funds monthly to a special bank account opened for humanitarian purposes.

The order to collect humanitarian aid was previously given by the Chairman of Parliament Alan Alborov.

“I would like to thank the deputies who monthly allocate funds from their salaries and transfer them to the bank account to provide assistance to the participants in the special operation. We regularly contact the fighters and help our guys with everything they need as much as possible,” Kvezerov said.

The parliamentarian has added that residents of the Republic also help in collecting for military personnel and volunteers.

“They found out that there is a special account and they themselves contact the bank to replenish it. For example, among them is a 10th grade student of the Znaur school, Robert Gatikoev, who donated 50 thousand he won; the Albion gymnasium collected 50 thousand. Political parties also provide assistance,” the deputy has noted.

He said that, at the request of the fighters in the red zone, funds were allocated for the purchase of medicines to provide first aid.

The funds collected will be used to purchase military uniforms, essential products and medicines for the participants of the special operation. The servicemen and volunteers express their gratitude for the support and assistance to the leadership of the Republic and the entire Ossetian people.
