A meeting was held at the South Ossetian consular agency in Vladikavkaz between the head of the Tskhinval administration, Romeo Khugaev, and the mayor of Gradara (Italian Republic), Filippo Gasperi, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.
Gasperi arrived in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania as part of a delegation to participate in the memorial events in connection with the 20th anniversary of the tragedy in Beslan.
“During the conversation, the parties expressed their mutual intention to further develop cooperation within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between the Tskhinval administration and the municipality of Gradara, signed in 2018,” the press service has noted.
For his active work, the representative of the RSO MFA in Italy Mauro Murgia was awarded the departmental medal of the South Ossetian MFA "For Interaction".
The meeting was also attended by the head of the RSO Consular Agency in Vladikavkaz Moris Sanakoev, the head of the Foreign Policy Department of the RSO MFA Taimuraz Dzhidzhoev, and the representative of the RSO MFA in Italy Mauro Murgia.
