Employees of the Frontier Management of the FSS of Russia in the Republic of South Ossetia continue delivering the humanitarian aid of Russia within the frames of the interdepartmental humanitarian action «Mutual aid. Cooperation. Safety» taken place in South Ossetia from August, 22 till September, 2, 2011.
The President of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity will take part in the X International Investment Forum «Sochi - 2011» which will be opened on September, 15. As the news agency "Res" has been informed at the press-service of the President and the Government of the RSO, the head of the state will lead the South-Ossetian delegation which will also include the Prime Minister of the RSO Vadim Brovtsev.
The V International art symposium «Alanika - 2011» is taking place in Vladikavkaz; it has gathered again the well-known masters of brush on the hospitable Ossetian soil. This year "Alanika" is celebrating the 5th anniversary. It has been confidently developing, including the new adherents and reacting sensitively to numerous trends of modern pop art, thus piously and carefully storing the traditions of the Alanian art, proving that Ossetia is becoming the recognized centre of culture in the south of Russia. Organizers of the symposium pursue the noble purpose: to involve as much as possible inhabitants and visitors of the Republic in the creative process. About 35 masters of painting, drawing and photo from Italy, Israel, France, Great Britain, Poland, Croatia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, the Russian cities will create on the soil of North Ossetia. Among them are the Ossetians Yury Abisalov and Robert Karkusov.
In day of celebrating the Day of Republic - on September, 20 the first foundation stone of the Academic town will be putin South Ossetia. It has been declared by the President of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity during the meeting with the students of the South-Ossetian State University.According to the President, it will be the best university complex all over the North Caucasus;its project has been already confirmed.« We need the highly skilled experts, but, first of all, we need the good Ossetian youth brought up on kind nice Ossetian traditions and customs. We need the experts who know their native language perfectly. You are the bright future of our Ossetia», - the President has emphasized.
The Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Narim Kozaev has paid an official visit to Caracas. It has been informed by the press-service of the RSO Foreign Ministry. On August, 30 Narim Kozaev was received at the Foreign Ministry of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. During the meeting the Ambassador has transferred the copies of credentials to the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Venezuela.
The President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev and the President of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity have discussed the questions of bilateral relations strengthening at the meeting in the Sochi residence of the Russian leader. The negotiations have passed on the threshold of the third anniversary of independence recognition of South Ossetia and Abkhazia by Russia. During the negotiations the presidents of two countries have emphasized the questions of strengthening bilateral interaction and the international issues connected with development of South Ossetia.
The Foreign Ministry of South Ossetia is informed about the so-called «peace march» to South Ossetia which is being prepared by the Georgian leadership. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia has announced, that the Republic will not allow any complications on the frontier. As the Foreign Minister of South Ossetia Murat Dzhioev has informed the news agency "Res", «according to the available information, the authorities of Georgia are going to aggravate the situation around the border on the eve of August, 26, when South Ossetia will celebrate the third anniversary of recognition of the Republic of South Ossetia by the Russian Federation».
Participants of the Interdepartmental humanitarian action -«Mutual aid, Cooperation, Safety»- have arrived in North Ossetia. At the airport where they were met by representatives of the leadership of South Ossetia, participants of the action have conducted a short briefing. They have told about purposes of the Interdepartmental Humanitarian Action which, according to the organizers, is aimed at creation of favorable conditions for functioning of the state bodies of the Republic. As the news agency "Res" has been informed at the press-service of the President and government of the RSO, the main target is focused on rendering medical aid to the population of South Ossetia by the doctors of the field hospital «Protection« at the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation and the Main clinical military hospital of FSS of Russia.

It has been reported to the news agency "Res" at the department of the Plenipotentiary of the RSO President on post conflict settlement. In this connection the Plenipotentiary of the RSO President on post conflict settlement Boris Chochiev has sent a letter to the head of the European Union Mission of Observers Andrzej Tyshkevich; the letter contains appeal to the EU observers to verify the information and take measures of preventing realization of the next provocation by the official Tbilisi.
