The agenda of the next round, Tsnelis and Gaprindashvili: co-chairs on the meeting in Tskhinval

A delegation of the co-chairs of the Geneva discussions visited Tskhinval to discuss the agenda for the upcoming fiftieth round. In addition to official events, the co-chairs had the opportunity to visit the Republican Medical Multidisciplinary Center. In the morning they had a protocol meeting with their South Ossetian colleagues, after which the head of state Anatoly Bibilov also received them.

The dialogue lasted several hours. Following the meeting, the co-chairs told reporters about the results.

President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov, at a meeting with the co-chairs of the Geneva discussions, expressed regret that the parties could not find a common solution on the situation at the border.

The co-chairs arrived in the Republic to discuss with the South Ossetian colleagues the agenda of the next round of the Geneva discussions.

The main objective of the Geneva discussions - the development of a legally binding document on the non-use of force, has become more relevant lately, in spite of the events that we have been observing in recent months, said Murat Dzhioyev, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy at a meeting with the co-chairs.

KGB told details about the detention of the Georgian doctor

The State Security Committee of South Ossetia has noted an increase in the number of crimes related to violation of the state border of the Republic with Georgia since the beginning of November, the committee’s press service reports.

As previously reported, since the beginning of the month, the KGB Border Service detained 40 violators, to whom the court determined various penalties.
