The South Ossetian delegation will take part in the first meeting of the Joint Working Group on the implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation, the press service of the executive body reports.

The delegation will be headed by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Finance Dzambolat Tadtaev.

President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev met with the head of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation for Interregional and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, Igor Maslov.

Maslov arrived in South Ossetia on a two-day working visit as part of the Russian delegation.

During the meeting, Gagloev thanked Maslov for his assistance in resolving problematic issues that related to the return of funds that had been sequestered and the abolition of export duties.

“It was very important for us,” Alan Gagloev said .

Relations with the Russian Orthodox Church, which has provided invaluable assistance to the people of South Ossetia, will continue to strengthen and develop dynamically, said the President of the RSO Alan Gagloev in the congratulatory message to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia on the occasion of the Patriarchal Enthronement Day.
