President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov has met with the delegation of the Russian Federation led by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Khloponin who has arrived in the Republic to participate in the 18th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission for Socio- Economic Cooperation between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation.
Anatoly Bibilov welcomed the guests, also congratulating them on the Constitution Day of the Russian Federation.

South Ossetian weightlifter Sarmat Ikaev performed at the WPC World powerlifting Championship in Moscow and won a gold medal. The athlete competed among juniors up to 23 years, in the weight group up to 125 kg.
As Ikaev himself has noted in the comment to "Res" agency, he took the first place, taking in the sum of triathlon 700 kg.
"Unfortunately, during the competition I received an injury and could not show everything I was preparing for. But, despite this, the coach appreciated my performance as quite successful", - Ikaev said.

The world opera star, the leading soloist of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theater Veronika Dzhioeva presented a solo concert at the Moscow International House of Music. Veronika Dzhioeva has performed with the Moscow Symphony Orchestra "Russian Philharmonic", under the direction of the conductor Mikhail Yurovsky.

A Talented opera singer Elena Gassieva will perform a solo concert in the capital of her native South Ossetia for the third time. The concert will be held with the support of the President of the Republic Anatoly Bibilov at the State Concert Hall "Chermen" on December 27.
