The Presidential Human Rights Commissioner of South Ossetia Inal Tasoev and Children's Ombudsman Aelita Dzhioeva are taking part in the II International Scientific and Practical Conference "The Origin and Development of Ideas on Human Rights and Freedoms".

The conference was organized in a full-time and correspondence format by the Human Rights Commissioner in Abkhazia Kishmaria Anas.

President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev presented state awards to Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic Alan Margiev and deputies of the VIII convocation, the press service of the head of state reports.

The award ceremony took place at the Presidential Executive Office of the Republic of South Ossetia and was timed to coincide with the 34th anniversary of the formation of the supreme legislative body of South Ossetia.

A meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pridnestrovie Vitaly Ignatiev and the head of the South Ossetian representative mission in the PMR Vitaly Yankovsky took place at the MFA of Pridnestrovie.

The diplomats summed up the results of the outgoing year and discussed a comprehensive plan for interaction between the two countries for 2025. The parties confirmed the priority nature of diplomatic relations between the fraternal republics, the press service of the PMR MFA reports.
