Ambassador of South Ossetia to Russia, Znaur Gassiev, took part in the reception to mark the 45th anniversary of the victory of the Sandinista People's Revolution at the invitation of Ambassador of Nicaragua to the Russian Federation, Alba Torres.

In his welcoming address, Gassiev congratulated the staff of the Diplomatic Mission and the friendly people of Nicaragua on this significant event.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev and Ambassador of South Ossetia to Nicaragua Narim Kozaev took part in the celebrations dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the victory of the Sandinista revolution. The main event took place at the Parque de la Dignidad Nacional in the center of Managua on July 19.

The guests were greeted by Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo.

Members of the South Ossetian Parliament Arsen Kvezerov, Zaza Driaev, Ivan Slanov, Alexander Gassiev and ex-speaker of Parliament Alan Alborov delivered humanitarian aid to the Ossetian fighters participating in the special military operation in Ukraine, the press service of the legislative body reports.

As noted by Arsen Kvezerov, head of state Alan Gagloev, deputies of the Parliament of the seventh convocation and Chairman of the National Bank Zhanna Dzhioeva helped in collecting the next batch of aid.

The delegation of the Research Institute "Nikitsky Botanical Garden - National Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences" led by Director, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Yuri Plugar again visited the South Ossetian State University.

The exhibition of South Ossetia at the CIF-2024 has come to an end. On the final day of the Forum, a warm and friendly relationship developed between the participants and guests of the Forum. According to him, during the three days of the Investment Forum, South Ossetia found new business contacts, and various companies, large businessmen and investors showed interest in the products and resources of the Republic.

A memorial plaque to Inal Gagloev, perished during the special military operation, was unveiled in Tskhinval. The ceremony was attended by relatives and friends of the deceased, neighbors, and the public.

A representative of the family Robert Gagloti emphasized the importance of perpetuating the memory of the soldiers perished on the fields of the special military operation.

President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev and Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov visited the horse racing as part of the events of the Caucasus Investment Forum in Grozny. Ramzan Kadyrov announced this on his Telegram channel.

“The award to the winner was presented by dear BROTHER and guest, President of the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev,” Kadyrov has written. ⁣⁣

The horse racing took place on the territory of the Said-Husein Zakaev Grozny Hippodrome. ⠀

The South Ossetian delegation arrived on a working visit to Nicaragua to participate in ceremonial events dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the Sandinista Revolution.

The delegation is headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, Akhsar Dzhioev, and has included Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to Nicaragua, Narim Kozaev.

The Envoy of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia in the Benelux countries, Rodion Pukhaev, was awarded the “Compatriot Badge of Honor” in Belgium, the press service of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.

The award was presented to the Plenipotentiary by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belgium Alexander Tokovinin during a solemn ceremony, the Foreign Ministry has noted.
