A letter of the South Ossetian district Committee of the RCP (b) to the Terek Regional Revkom. - July 2, 1920
As a result of the uprising in South Ossetia, tens of thousands of refugees crossed the Main Caucasian Range and entered the Terek region, where they experience all kinds of disasters. The refugee movement was caused by the fact that the troops of the Georgian government, after the retreat of the red rebels, exterminated the civilian population and set fire to all villages.
