President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev posthumously awarded the leader of the national movement "Adamon Nykhas" Alan Chochiev with the Order of "Watsamonga" for outstanding services in the formation of the Republic, strengthening independence and protecting territorial integrity.
The President handed over the highest state award to his son Atsamaz and the grandchildren of the outstanding political figure.
On Tuesday, Minister of Culture of South Ossetia, Rada Dzagoeva, met with Minister of Art and Cultural Policy of the Ulyanovsk Region, Yevgenia Sidorova.
The meeting was held as part of the tour of the Ulyanovsk State Theater for Young Spectators to South Ossetia.
Rada Dzagoeva has stressed that the mutual cooperation between South Ossetia and the Russian Federation in the cultural sphere has recently reached a new level.

The author-performer from South Ossetia, the former soloist of the group "Starry South" Albert Laliev dedicated a new song to the Ossetian volunteer who heroically died during the special military operation of Russia in Ukraine to protect the residents of Donbass – Ruslan Besaev. The head of the Parliamentary Committee on foreign policy and inter-parliamentary relations, Zaza Dryaev, explained that “citizens of South Ossetia, permanently residing on the territory of the Republic of South Ossetia, and having Russian citizenship at the same time, had problems with passing through customs.”
