“Last year was quite successful for us. We actively cooperate with the Russian Ministry of Culture; good communication is established with some Russian regions. We received the invitation to the All-Russian festival of national theaters “Federation”, which will be held in Chechnya,” the Minister said.
Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation Zara Valieva was presented with the state award of South Ossetia - the Order of Friendship. According to the Embassy's press service, the decree on the award was signed by President Alan Gagloev.
“The high award was presented to Zara Valieva by Ambassador Znaur Gassiev. She was awarded for many years of conscientious work and merits in the implementation of South Ossetia’s foreign policy,” the diplomatic mission specified.
The capital of South Ossetia will host the evening of remembrance “10 years of ongoing tragedy”, timed to coincide with the tenth anniversary of the start of the Anti-Terrorist Operation in Donbass by Ukraine.
