The round table "Realization of the scheme of territorial planning (STP) and the plan of socio-economic development of RSO – is a guarantee of the successful building of the foundation of the political system in the Republic" took place in Tskhinval.
The Round table has been organized by the South-Ossetian branch of the Institute of the Eurasian researches and the Republican political party "Unity".
Deputies of the parliament of RSO, director of the Institute of the Eurasian Researches Zurab Kokoev, the chairman of the RPP department "Unity" Eleonora Bedoeva, the mayor of Tskhinval Gerasim Khugaev, vice-chairman of the government of RSO Domenty Kulumbegov, representative of the Ministry of capital, road construction and architecture Smelters Vigaris, the representatives of the Ministry of culture of RSO and also the representatives of the regions of the Republic, vice-chairman of the parliament of RNO-Alaniya Azamat Khadikov, counsellor of the parliament of RNO- Alaniya Kazbek Tsakhilov and the others.
At the beginning of the work Zurab Kokoev expressed his gratitude to the North-Ossetian representatives for their participation in discussing of the scheme of the territorial planning and the plan of socio-economic development of the Republic of South Ossetia.
"This subject is very actual for our Republic, - has said Kokoev. - How we build the Republic, how we develop the civil society, will depend a great deal in the further life of our people".
As the chief of the department of guarding the monuments of the Ministry of culture of RSO Nelli Tabueva noted, the construction sites in South Ossetia have been monitoring without the expert commission, which had been created at the department of guarding monuments.
Eleonora Bedoeva, in turn, has emphasized that all nature reserves are marked on the scheme of the territorial planning and are identical with the tourist-recreation zone.
As Vigaris Smelters said, the lack of the scheme of territorial planning was always a serious problem for designers, builders of the route in the Republic.
In the course of the round table have been discussing the goals and the issues of the creation of STP, strategy of the development of the Republic and the documents, in which they are reflected, transport and engineering infrastructure of RSO, the possibility of intensive economic relationship with RF and etc.
In conclusion, some recommendation appeals to the parliament of RSO and to the government of RSO were accepted, with the request to adopt the law about STP and to plan socio-economic development of the Republic on middle and long-term periods on the base of STP.
