A presidential aspirant of South Ossetia, a Vice-Speaker of Parliament Yuri Dzitstsoity has passed today an exam on qualifications of the official languages, necessary for registration of presidential candidates. As IA "Res" has been informed at the CEC of South Ossetia, Yuri Dzitstsoity passed the exam successfully, and members of the linguistic commission gave him a pass.
They specified that he had written the dictation in Russian and Ossetian, and then addressed the committee on the topic, "Your proposal to combat corruption in the Republic in case of victory in presidential elections of South Ossetia." During his speech he has said that anti-corruption drive is an important part of his political activities, regardless of his position. "I think it is obligatory to pass the exam, as it dramatically enhanced the prestige of the Ossetian language. I have passed it today, but I think that the difficulties are still ahead", - Dzitstsoity has concluded. It should be reminded, that at the present time, the CEC is also checking the subscription lists with the necessary 500 signatures in support of Yuri Dzitstsoity for validity.
