The Central Election Commission of South Ossetia has published a resolution on the establishment of territorial election commissions for presidential elections on April 10, 2022, according to the official website of the CEC.
The CEC has noted that the territorial commissions were created on the basis of Article 8 of the constitutional law "On the election of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia."
The following territorial election commissions have been created for a single constituency, which includes the entire territory of South Ossetia:
a) Territorial Electoral Commission of the city of Tskhinval;
b) Territorial Electoral Commission of the Tskhinval District;
c) Territorial Electoral Commission of the Dzau District;
d) Territorial Electoral Commission of the Znaur District;
e) Territorial Electoral Commission of the Leningor District;
f) Territorial Electoral Commission of the city of Kvaisa.
The same resolution provides for the publication of the document in the state media and on the website of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of South Ossetia on the Internet.
