Ossetian diplomat assured that he would make every effort to further strengthen the friendly relations between the peoples
of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

From 1 to 15 August 2013 the border guards of the FSS Border Control Agency of Russia in South Ossetia detained three violators of the state border and four violators of the border regime. AS IA "Res" was informed at the press service of the FSS Border Control Agency of Russia in South Ossetia, the offenders were handed over to the Border Service of the KGB of South Ossetia for further proceedings.

In Tskhinval took place the first press conference of heads of executive authorities as part of a planned series of similar events held on the instructions of the President of the Republic Leonid Tibilov. The RSO Security Council Secretary Anatoly Pliev has answered the questions of journalists.

For the last week three violators of the state border of the Republic of South Ossetia were detained and handed over to the Border Guard Service of KGB of South Ossetia. As IA "Res" has been informed at the press service of the KGB of South Ossetia, the two detainees are the citizens of Georgia, and one - a citizen of South Ossetia.

Today, July 23, South Ossetia is celebrating the Day of the National Media. The festive date is timed to the first issue of the Ossetian newspaper - "Iron gazette."

In the period from 10th to 16th July six violators of the state border were detained in the territory of South Ossetia and handed over to the State Security Committee of the Republic.
As IA "Res" was informed at the press service of the KGB of South Ossetia, three offenders were the citizens of Georgia, and three - the citizens of South Ossetia.

Since the beginning of this week, the Committee for State Security (KGB) of South Ossetia had five criminal cases against two citizens of Georgia and three Russian citizens detained (on June 26 and July 6) for violation of the state border of South Ossetia.

For the illegal crossing of the state border between South Ossetia and Georgia eight people were detained in the territory of South Ossetia. As IA "Res" was reported at the press service of the KGB of South Ossetia, five of the eight detainees are citizens of Georgia.

On September 18, 2013 will come into effect the resolution of the Government of South Ossetia, in accordance which through the checkpoints of the state border between the Republic of and Georgia will be terminated the passing of vehicles in a simplified order. As the news agency "Res" has been informed at the press service of the KGB of South Ossetia, this is a resolution №102, adopted June 18, 2013 by the Government of South Ossetia, amending the previously adopted resolutions №119 ( November 23, 2010) "On the checkpoints at the border of the Republic of South Ossetia, and the entry points at the state border of the Republic of South Ossetia", and № 26 ( February 15, 2011) "On the organization of crossing the state border of the Republic of South Ossetia with Georgia in a simplified order."

For the last week in South Ossetia were detained 12 violators of the state border of the Republic, reported IA "Res" the press service of the KGB of South Ossetia. Two detainees are the citizens of Georgia. At the moment four detainees are under investigation at the Border service of the KGB of South Ossetia.
