February 22, in the Georgian village of Ergneti, bordering on South Ossetia, will be held the 31 meeting in the format of Mechanisms on Prevention and Reaction to Incidents (MPRI).

South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov has paid a working visit to Leningor district of the Republic, where he has met with the heads of departments of the district administration. As reported IA "Res" by a press secretary of the head of state Gana Yanovskaya, the president was interested in the work, carried out in all spheres of social life of the district.

December 24 in Tskhinval district of South Ossetia the Russian border guards detained two Georgian citizens for violation of the state border.

By April 2013 will be worked out a comprehensive plan for the development of South Ossetia till 2016, according to which will be determined the socio-economic development for the next years. This has been declared at a press conference in Tskhinval by Deputy Minister of Regional Development of Russia Sergey Vereshchagin, who has arrived in the Republic on a working visit.

South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov has received the members of the Russian interagency group, which are in Tskhinval since November 7 to provide consultative and practical assistance to the people and state institutions of the Republic.

Representatives of the South Ossetian leadership, headed by President Leonid Tibilov and Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration for Interregional and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries Sergey Chebotarev, arrived on a working visit to the Republic, have visited today Leningor district of South Ossetia.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia David Sanakoev is planning to pay an official visit to the Russian Federation on October 8-9.

A joint meeting of the Government of South Ossetia with the interagency working group that arrived in the country to see the results of implementation of the investment program to promote socio-economic development of the Republic of South Ossetia in 2012-2013, has been held in Tskhinval. The meeting, chaired by President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov and Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Rashid Nurgaliyev, summed up the first results of the two-day work of the leadership of the South Ossetian ministries with colleagues from the relevant agencies and the Russian Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation on socio-economic cooperation with the CIS countries, South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov and Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Rashid Nurgaliyev, who arrived in the Republic on a working visit, have inspected today the construction of the road-Tskhinval- Leningor. They were accompanied by members of the South Ossetian government and representatives of the Russian interdepartmental working group, who arrived in the Republic on September 23.

The Russian interagency working group led by Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Rashid Nurgaliyev has continued today its work in South Ossetia. Members of the delegation and representatives of the South Ossetian leadership, headed by President Leonid Tibilov went to Leningor district, where they would communicate with the district administration and the local population. Besides, during the trip they will inspect the social and infrastructural facilities, which are under construction.
