January 25 South Ossetia is expecting the visit of a delegation of the co-chairs of the Geneva discussions on security in Transcaucasia. This was reported by Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev during a meeting of the President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov with heads of the law enforcement agencies of the Republic. According to him, the delegation will include the co-chairs of the EU, the UN and the OSCE.
South Ossetian authorities have no information whether the citizens of South Ossetia, kept in Georgian prisons, will be granted an amnesty declared by the Parliament of Georgia recently (within two months three thousand prisoners will be released).

The X meeting of the Inter-parliamentary Assembly (IPA) of the Member States Community "For Democracy and Human Rights" has been held in the capital of South Ossetia. South Ossetia has all the opportunities to develop eco-tourism. This has been said at a press conference in Tskhinval by Deputy Minister of Regional Development of Russia Sergey Vereshchagin.
