South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev signed a decree on holding the International Forum in the city of Tskhinval in 2025, the press service of the head of state reports.

As noted here, the Forum is intended to promote the development of international economic cooperation between the Republic and foreign partners.

The Organizing Committee has been created to prepare and hold the International Forum, and Taimuraz Goginov, the Trade Representative of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation, has been appointed its Chairman.

The development of the South Ossetian-Abkhaz relations was discussed during a meeting between the head of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia Oleg Bartsits and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Ossetia to the Republic of Abkhazia Oleg Botsiev. This was reported by press service of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia.

As noted, the meeting took place in Sukhum. Oleg Botsiev congratulated Oleg Bartsits on his appointment to the post of head of the foreign policy department.

In Luxembourg, as part of the "Days of Ossetian Culture in Europe", the opening of the exhibition of the Ossetian artists "Arv-Art" will take place. This was reported to IA "Res" by the head of the international non-profit association "Renaissance Sandidzan" (Renaissance) Radion Pukhaev.

"We are pleased to present the works of the talented Ossetian artists from different countries. This is a unique opportunity for the Ossetian culture to declare itself in the international arena," Pukhaev has noted.

The Communist Party of South Ossetia is taking part in the Second International Anti-Fascist Forum, which is taking place in Moscow on the eve of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

This was announced by Vice-Speaker of Parliament of South Ossetia, the leader of the Communist Party of South Ossetia faction Taimuraz Tadtaev.

The South Ossetian Boris Galaev state group "Simd» went on a tour of the Russian cities with a program dedicated to the anniversary of the Great Victory.

As reported by the Telegram channel of the state group, as part of the tour, "Simd" will perform in Maykop, Krasnodar, Novocherkassk and Volgograd.

According to the group, rehearsals, loading costumes and the necessary props - everything is ready for the audience to see a bright program.

The tour is part of the "We are Russia" program, strengthening cultural ties between the regions.

Explosive objects were found in two districts of South Ossetia - Znaur and Dzau, the press service of the Republic's Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on Tuesday.

The department has specified that a shot from a BMP-1 PG-7 was found in the city of Kvaysa.

Earlier, specialists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations went to the village of Znaur to the place where a shot from the RPG-7 was found.

The ammunition was seized by sappers of Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia for subsequent disposal.

The visit of the First Deputy Head of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation Sergei Kiriyenko to South Ossetia was the important stage in the development of the Russian-South Ossetian relations, according to political scientist Yuri Vazagov believes.

According to him, as a result of the talks with President of the Republic Alan Gagloev, the most important decisions for South Ossetia were made.

A particle of the Holy Fire, symbolizing the light of the Resurrection of Christ, was delivered to the churches of South Ossetia on Easter night.

The relic was brought from the Cathedral of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious in Vladikavkaz by Alan Pliev, Assistant to President of South Ossetia, and Roman Gatikoev, a clergyman of the Alan Diocese.
