Agenda of the seventh session of the Intergovernmental Commission (IGC) on socio-economic cooperation between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation has been discussed today at a meeting of the South Ossetian party of the IGC, chaired by Minister of Economic Development of South Ossetia Zalina Khugati.
South Ossetia will resolve the issue of gas supply of Leningor district without Georgia, said South Ossetian Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev at today`s briefing in Tskhinval, commenting on the results of the last round of international discussions on security in Transcaucasia, held in Geneva on 26-27 March.
"The Georgian side reported as if it was ready to supply Leningor district of South Ossetia with gas. This statement, in particular, has the political aim, thus Tbilisi wants to emphasize that the new Georgian authorities are trying to simplify the border crossing in the area, although it is very loyal, "- said Dzhioev.

March 26-27, 2013 a regular meeting of the international discussions on security and stability in Transcaucasia was held in Geneva. It was attended by delegations of the Republic of South Ossetia, the Republic of Abkhazia, the Russian Federation, Georgia, the United States, as well as the EU, the UN and the OSCE. South Ossetian delegation was headed by Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev.
