The two inhabitants of Georgia, detained by the Russian peacemakers on Tuesday at a post near the settlement of Megvrekisi, are already released. The correspondent of the agency «Res» has been informed about it by the assistant of the commander of JPKF the lieutenant colonel Juriy Vereshchak.
The citizens of Georgia have been detained in the second half of the day on September, 11th at the check point «Мegvrekisi» of the peace-making forces, at which the Russian military men carry service.

In the address of the command of JPKF has arrived a letter from September, 11th, 2007 for № 4-9/595 from the co-chairman of the georgian part of JCC D.Mandzhavidze on occasion of ostensibly illegal arrest of the two citizens of Georgia at the check point of the Peacemaking Forces from the Russian Federation «Megvrekisi» with the requirement of «immediate release of the arrested persons, indemnification of the caused damage and the decision on the termination of functioning of the post of the Peacemaking Forces of the Russian Federation «Megvrekisi»». It would be desirable to note, that the detention of the two citizens of Georgia has been made for illegal actions concerning the military men of the Peacemaking Forces of the Russian Federation, carrying out their task at a peace-making post «Megvrekisi». We remind, that the check point of the Peacemaking Forces from the Russian Federation «Megvrekisi» is, first of all, a check point but not an observant post. In conformity with the article 4 of the Appendix №1 to the decision of JCC from December, 6th, 1994 (Protocol №7) «The military contingents and military observers have the right: - to check the citizens" documents proving the identity, on entry permit, departure permit, movement, and also to make examination of the persons, cargoes and vehicles; - to detain the citizens, breaking the established rules of the mode of state emergency with the subsequent transfer to the law enforcement bodies on the basis of the current legislation».

Today the President of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokojty has accepted the Minister on nationality affairs of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania Taimuraz Kasaev. At the meeting there were discussed some questions of integration policy between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania, and also the course of preparation to the VIth All-ossetian congress.

In the second half of the day on September, 11th, 2007 at the checking point of the Peacemaking Forces from the Peacemaking Forces of the Russian Federation «Megvrekisi», on checking the documents and examining the car of the citizens of Georgia V.J.Midodashvili and G.N.Khamidashvili, physical resistance had been showed by them to the peacemakers, carrying out the check, as a result of which one of the military men has received physical injuries.

«The Command of the Joint Peacekeeping Forces (JPKF) in the zone of the georgian-ossetian conflict once again declares about the unlawful arrest of the military men of the peace-making forces, about the obviously provocative character of actions of the georgian side, and insists on the immediate release of the peacemakers, illegally kept by the georgian side», is spoken in the message of the assistant of the commander of JPKF on work with mass-media the lieutenant colonel Juriy Vereshchak.

The condition of the 24-years old Igor Kokoev, wounded yesterday as a result of a terrorist act, is stable now and does not cause fears at the doctors. The correspondent of the agency «Res» have been informed about it at the traumatologic branch of the Republican somatic hospital. On the eve the victim has undergone an operation and now he passes a corresponding course of rehabilitation.

«The dynamics of development of the situation leaves no doubts that before holding the VIth All-ossetian congress in Tskhinval and celebration of the Day of Republic in South Ossetia on September, 18th-20th the special services of Georgia will try their best to stir up a subversive activity in the zone of the conflict», is spoken in the communique of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of RSO.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia regards the occurred in the morning terrorist act, as a result of which the 24-years old inhabitant of Tskhinval Igor Kokoev has suffered, as the one more evidence of the fact that the georgian mode is not going to refuse the further realization of the plan on destabilization of the situation in the zone of the georgian-ossetian conflict.

Today late at night has been broken the air space in the zone of the georgian-ossetian conflict. The correspondent of the agency «Res» have been informed about it at the press-service of the administration of Leningor region of the Republic of South Ossetia. Under the available information, a military helicopter with the recognition symbols of the armed forces of Georgia has flown onto the territory of RSO in the area of the village Tsinagar. Under the evidences of the local residents the helicopters were, probably, two.

Serious alarm and anxiety causes in deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia the increase of intensity around the Republic of South Ossetia. There are bases to assume, that for the settlement of the conflict the georgian authorities plan to use force. In this connection it puts us on guard the scale manoeuvres of the georgian army and the growth of heavy military equipment and arms close to the borders of the Republic of South Ossetia, and as a consequence to that - the becoming more frequent shellings of the town of Tskhinval and the other settlements from the georgian side, the capture of hostages, provocations on the roads and against the peace-making forces, our citizens continue to be exposed to moral and physical insults at the illegally placed posts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia in the zone of the conflict, the commitment of terrorist acts on the territory of South Ossetia under the order of the georgian special services, the threat of physical destruction of the Management of the Republic of South Ossetia, the demonstrative attempts of infringement of the existing mechanisms of a negotiating process, the refusal of signing a document about the non-renewal of military operations and about the non-use of force in the case of settlement of the georgian-ossetian conflict, on what the south-ossetian side persistently insists. All this gives the basis to make a conclusion, that terrorism in Georgia is raised to the rank of state policy.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Murat Dzhioev has sent a letter to the co-chairman of JCC from the South-Ossetian side Boris Chochiev, the co-chairman of JCC from the Russian side Juriy Popov, the co-chairman of JCC from the North-Ossetian side Murat Tkhostov, the co-chairman of JCC from the Georgian side David Mandzhavidze and to the acting Head of the Mission of OSCE in Georgia Veselin Nikolaev.
