Possibility of falsification of the voting results at the forthcoming presidential elections of South Ossetia on November, 13th has been discussed by presidential candidates of the RSO at the meeting in Tskhinval. As the candidate for the Presidency Georgy Kabisov has informed the news agency "RES", nine of the seventeen presidential candidates took part in the meeting: Alla Dzhioeva, Alan Pliev, Dzhemal Dzhigkaev, Inal Bazzaev, Igor Alborov, Ajvar Bestaev, Sergey Bitiev and Merab Chigoev, including Kabisov himself.

Plans on returning the residents of Leningor district of South Ossetia who were expelled from their homes during the occupation of the area by the Georgian armed formations from 1989 to 2008, have been discussed at the meeting of the President of South Ossetia, Eduard Kokoity, with the heads of the ministries and departments. The meeting was also attended by representatives of public organizations of refugees from Georgia and from Leningor District, currently living in North Ossetia, and also by the Deputy Minister of the Regional Development Minister Sergei Vereshchagin.

The budget of the Russian Federation has already provided financial resources to implement the investment program for promoting socio-economic development of South Ossetia in 2012-2013. It has been declared during the working meeting of the government of South Ossetia, being held in Tskhinval by the Deputy Minister for Regional Development Sergei Vereshchagin.
He has noted that since this year, which is already coming to the end, it is necessary to make plans for the next period.

To trace the destiny of missing citizens of the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Khachirov, Soltan Pliev and Alan Khugaev was the key question of the meeting which has taken place today in the village Dvani (Georgia) within the frames of Mechanisms on prevention and reaction to incidents. As reported by the employee of the office of the plenipotentiary on the post-conflict settlement of the RSO Guram Sobaev to the news agency "RES", the Georgian party has not answered in the affirmative on this matter, having informed that the investigation process is still in progress. «We have given total information to Mr. Andzhej Tyshkevich (head of the European Union Mission of observers in Georgia) about the results of work of the European independent expert commission, which has drawn up a deed that employees of the law-enforcement agencies of Georgia participated in detention of these persons», - he has underlined. Sobaev has added that he also touched upon the issue of the other missing citizens of the RSO - Ikaev, Kabisov, Gagloev and Tedeev.

The panel of the Supreme Court judges of South Ossetia has not satisfied the appeal of the ex-Minister of Defence of the RSO Valery Tedeev, a businessman Khokh Gagloity and the chairman of the public organization «Non-departmental Control Committee» Svetlana Kozaeva against the decision of the Central Election Committee of the RSO, according to which, the mentioned citizens were refused of registration as the presidential nominees. It has been informed the news agency "Res" at the press-service of the Supreme Court of the RSO.

The panel of the Supreme Court judges of South Ossetia has not satisfied the appeal of the initiative group, nominating the General Director of the Public corporation «Stroyprogress» Albert Dzhussoev for presidential elections in the RSO, against the resolution of the Central Election Committee passed on October, 12. As informed by the press-service of the Supreme Court of the RSO, « the panel of the three Supreme Court judges has considered this case: a chief justice Atsamaz Bichenov and two judges -Karina Tskhovrebova and Nelli Tibilova.

The next meeting of participants of Mechanisms on prevention and reaction to incidents (MPRI) is planned to be held on October, 21st in the Georgian village Dvani, bordering on South Ossetia. It has been reported to the News agency "RES" at the office of the Plenipotentiary of the President of the RSO on the post-conflict settlement. «The South-Ossetian party will raise again a question on the missing citizens of South Ossetia, in particular, Alan Khachirov, Alan Khugaev and Soltan Pliev», - the employee of the plenipotentiary office has informed.

Alumni of the judo school in Znaurskiy district of the RSO Soslan Valiev will take part in the championship of Russia on sambo-wrestling among the sportsmen born in 1995 - 1997. As reported by the trainer of the sportsman Inal Gabaraev to IA "RES", « the competition will be held in the Samara region from October, 25 to October, 27. Valiev will contest in a weight class to 48 kg. He is well prepared and confident of victory in the tournament, - Gabaraev has told. - Our sportsman will support the team of North Ossetia».

In the near future the Ministry of Capital, Road Construction and Architecture of the RSO will start beautification of the streets in Tskhinval. As the head of the Ministry of Construction Chermen Khugaev has informed the news agency "RES", all the houses in one of the central streets - the Heroes Street – have been already connected to the basic communications and in the near future the workers will start the sidewalk flagging. «All the sidewalks will be flagged, and the traffic area will be covered with asphalt. In the Heroes Street the road menders will start construction of the storm sewage, and the next week they will move to the roadbed. Then it is planned to start repair works of the parallel street», - Khugaev has informed.

The Central Election Committee of South Ossetia has completed registration of candidates for the Presidency. As reported by the Central Election Committee to IA "RES", 17 citizens of the RSO will contest the presidency. «In total 30 initiative groups have addressed to the Central Election Committee. Thirteen of them have been refused registration, and 17 nominees will participate in the elections», - has been noted at the Central Election Committee. Besides, in day of voting 86 polling stations will be opened.
