Within the limits of celebrating the Day of Culture of South Ossetia in the Stavropol Territory, timed to birthday of the founder of the Ossetian literary language Kosta Khetagurov, two exhibitions will be opened today in the city of Pyatigorsk. As the organizer of the celebratory actions, the director of the House of national cultures of Pyatigorsk Emma Beteeva-Dzitsieva has phoned to the news agency "RES", the celebration will begin with opening the children's exhibition «Children of Tskhinval are drawing».

The Ministry of Сapital, Road building and Architecture of South Ossetia has started constructing the new university campus. As informed by the Minister for Сapital, Road building and Architecture Chermen Khugaev, the ten hectares built-up area, located to the north of Tskhinval, has been completely bulldozed, the old buildings are demolished, trees are cut down and stubbed. «The vertical lay-out is already made, now we are going to build the foundation. The foundation ditch is ready, and at present preparatory works are being carried out for foundation pour», - the Minister has told.

The head coach of the Russian national team on free-style wrestling Dzhambolat Tedeev is taken off the territory of South Ossetia tothe Russian Federation, under escort of the employees of the State security of the RSO. As informed by the Press Secretary of the President of the RSO Tamara Kelekhsaeva to IA RES, Dzhambolat Tedeev, in violation of all the agreements, has been aggravating a situation in South Ossetia on the eve of the presidential elections, involving the well-known Russian sportsmen in the political events.

On November, 13, in day of voting for presidential elections and also the referendum about the Russian language status in South Ossetia, 84 electoral districts will be opened in the Republic.

The statement of the Georgian businessman Bidzina Ivanishvili has reaffirmed rightness of our statements, including the ones within the frames of the Geneva discussions, that while Saakashvili and his criminal gang remains in power of Georgia, one should not expect any results on drafting the document on non-use of force against South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

The delegation of the government of South Ossetia led by the Prime Minister Vadim Brovtsev has visited the 16th international exhibition "Agroprodmash-2011" which has been taking place in Moscow from August, 10 to August, 14. The delegation of South Ossetia has also included the Acting Minister for Economic Development of the RSO Batradz Parastaev and other officials. During the visit the delegation has held a meeting with the designers of the large objects of agro-industrial sector of the RSO for which development 900 million roubles were built into the investment program.

Today the Central Election Committee of South Ossetia has registered the Chairman of the State Committee for Information and Mass Communications of the RSO Georgy Kabisov and the deputy of the Parliament of the RSO (Communist Party) Merab Chigoev as the presidential candidates. As informed by the Central Election Committee of the RSO to IA RES, today the Central Election Committee has refused registration of the businessman Akhsar Vaneev and the General Director of the public corporation «Stroyprogress" Albert Dzhussoev.

The panel of the three Supreme Court judges of South Ossetia has not satisfied the appeal of the initiative group, nominating the head coach of the Russian national team on free-style wrestling Dzhambolat Tedeev for presidential elections in the RSO, against the resolution of the Central Electoral Committee passed on September, 30.

The South-Ossetian freestyle wrestlers Nikolay Tskhovrebov, Alan Pliev, Arthur Gagiev and Vladimir Dzhioev have become the silver prize-winners of the Ninth Tournament of people of the Southern Federal District and the North Caucasian Federal District.

Progress in drafting the legal document obliging Georgia not to apply force against South Ossetia and Abkhazia, has not been reached at the 17th round of the Geneva discussions, being held on October, 3-4.
