At the Nameless Height: peak climbing will be dedicated to the victims of genocide
The climbing of alpinists of South Ossetia to the Nameless Peak is the first event in a series of memorable events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Ossetian people’s genocide, said Zhanna Zasseeva, Minister of Culture of South Ossetia.
According to her, all the climbing groups of South Ossetia expressed a desire to pass on three routes - from Dzimyr Khokh, the Kudar Gorge and the Ruck Pass, on which the people of South Ossetia were driven out in 1920.
