A dangerous find: a villager in South Ossetia found a hand grenade in his garden
In the village of Dmenis, Tskhinval district, an explosive device was found by a resident of the village, the Emergency Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia told the “Res” news agency.
"On Friday, it was reported that a resident of the village of Dmenis came across a dangerous object in his garden - a hand-held anti-personnel grenade F-1, which he immediately informed rescuers," said the Emergency Situations officer on duty.
Sappers were sent to the detection site of the dangerous find; the explosive device was eliminated on a safe landfill.
