Sixteen prizes were taken by the South Ossetian athletes in all-style karate and hand-to-hand fighting at the X All-Russian cultural and sports festival "Peaceful Caucasus 2021".

The sporting event took place in Vladikavkaz.

In all-style karate, the winners of the competition were Andrey Tomaev, Elizaveta Alborova, Arsen Dzhioev and Mikhail Parastaev. Silver medals were taken by Alexei Chebotarev, David Kotaev, Atsamaz Bestaev, Marat Tedeev, Dmitry Guzitaev, Erik Siukaev, Shamil Bekoev and Arsen Laliev, and the bronze - by Renat Pukhaev.

Over the past nine months since the beginning of the year, 296 violators of legislation in the border sphere were detained at various sections of the state border of South Ossetia (for the nine months of 2020 - 360).

According to the press service of the KGB of the Republic, of them 115 (157 in 2020) are violators of the state border regime, 181 (203 in 2020) are border regime violators.

"The Border Service of the State Security Committee conducted investigations for each violation of legal regimes.
