The heads of the Ministries of Education of South Ossetia and the Donetsk People's Republic agreed to expand scientific and educational cooperation

In Tskhinval, a protocol was signed on amending the Agreement between the government of the Donetsk People's Republic and the government of the Republic of South Ossetia on the mutual recognition of education. The agreement provides for expanding cooperation in the field of education and science of the two countries.

Seven new cases of COVID-19 gave been in South Ossetia in a day

The number of detected cases of coronavirus infection COVID-19 in South Ossetia increased by 7 in a day, 6 more recovered, Anna Gagloeva, Deputy head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee, said on Friday.

"In the \Republic, as of February 26, 2021, 3,033 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded. Over the past day, 123 tests were carried out, 7 of them showed a positive result," Gagloeva said.

According to her, for the entire time of the pandemic, 18,243 tests were carried out, 2,155 people were discharged from hospitals, more than 60 died.

The daily growth of COVID-19 infection in South Ossetia increased by 17

Solemn formation, congratulations and awards: Ministry of Defense of South Ossetia is celebrating two holidays

The ceremonial formation of servicemen, timed to coincide with the Defender of the Fatherland Day and the 28th anniversary of the formation of the defense department, was held on the parade ground of the Ministry of Defense of South Ossetia.

The General Director of the Charitable Foundation "Under the Protection of the Mother of God" Yevgeny Korolev handed over the relics of St. George the Victorious to the Supreme Commander. Priest Father Sergiy read prayers before the event, and then sprinkled holy water on the soldiers of the Ministry of Defense and all those present.

South Ossetian Defense Ministry is celebrating the 28th anniversary

The armed forces of South Ossetia are celebrating 28 years since the day of formation. The Ministry of Defense was created by the resolution of the Supreme Council of the RSO dated November 17, 1992. In January-February 1993, a staffing structure was approved, which began to be staffed.

Officially, the Ministry was formed on February 22, 1993, but it was decided to celebrate the holiday a day later, combining it with the traditional holiday in honor of the defenders of the Fatherland.
