This cannot be forgotten: the eyewitness about the Zar tragedy

The cars with the bodies of the dead left behind a dense scarlet line of blood. This is how the Zar tragedy was remembered by the eyewitness Gennady Khubaev. Case # 9292019: The Zar tragedy is an act of genocide, the perpetrators have been identified, no one will remain unpunished

In the recent history of South Ossetia, there are many sorrowful dates over which time has no power and which people will always remember. One of these is May 20. Exactly 29 years ago, on May 20, 1992, a convoy of cars and trucks was moving along the Zar road.

The exhausted civilians, women, children and old people left the besieged Tskhinval hoping to wait out the war in a safe place, but along the road, which was called the Road of Life, they were brutally shot by the Georgian fascists.
