"Dictated by history": Russian parliamentarian on the recognition of South Ossetia and Abkhazia
The joining of Crimea to Russia, as well as the recognition of South Ossetia and Abkhazia by the Russian Federation, was dictated by history, Sergei Tsekov, a representative from the legislative body of state power of the Republic of Crimea, said at the meeting of the RSO parliamentary commission on cooperation with the Federation Council of Russia.
