Employees of the Migration Department of South Ossetia checked the documents for the legality of the stay of foreign citizens on the territory of the Republic, as well as the availability of work patents, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.

“During the raids, law enforcement officers also paid attention to their living conditions,” the department said.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Ossetia to the Republic of Abkhazia Oleg Botsiev and Rector of the South Ossetian State University Vadim Tedeev met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia Inal Ardzimba, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia reports.

"During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest," the report says.

The Foreign Ministry has noted that the meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
