Last Wednesday, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia neutralized the found ammunition, the press service of the emergency department reports.

"On the outskirts of the village of Ziulet, Znaur district of South Ossetia, an anti-tank mine TM-57 (combat) was discovered," the press service said.

They noted that the sappers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations had left for the place. The ammunition was seized and taken to the firing range for destruction.

President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev sent a telegram of condolences to Acting Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo in connection with the tragic death of prominent political and public figure Kirill Stremousov, the press service of the head of state reports.

“I received the news of the tragic death of the prominent political and public figure, Deputy Governor of the Kherson region Kirill Sergeevich Stremousov with a feeling of deep sorrow,” the telegram of condolences says.

Security issues, the situation on the state border between South Ossetia and Georgia, violations of the state border and flights of unmanned aerial vehicles were discussed at the meeting within the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanisms (IPRM) on Thursday in the border village of Ergnet.

Yegor Kochiev, the head of the South Ossetian side, Deputy Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy for post-conflict settlement, told reporters about this after the meeting.

On Wednesday, Minister of Justice Oleg Gagloev received the new head of the protection department of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the Republic of South Ossetia, Radik Nabiulin.

As reported on the official website of the Ministry of Justice, the parties discussed the criminal-executive system of the Republic, as well as the normative legal regulation of the issues related to the missing.
