More than a hundred scientists from Russia, South Ossetia and Abkhazia were united by the international conference “Between North and South: the Caucasus as a link of civilizations” at the North Caucasus Federal University.

According to the press service of the South Ossetian State University, South Ossetia was represented at the event by the South Ossetian State University scientists - professor, head of the department of political science and sociology Inal Sanakoev and senior lecturer of the department of political science and sociology Lina Kulumbegova.

The heads of the Ministries of Culture of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation Rada Dzagoeva and Olga Lyubimova signed a cooperation program for 2024-2026. This was reported by the press service of the South Ossetian Ministry of Culture.

The department noted that the signing took place on the sidelines of the IX St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum, which is being attended by Rada Dzagoeva.

Solemn procession with public participation, a rally at the entrance to Tskhinval, a photo exhibition, lessons of courage and a number of other events will be held in South Ossetia in honor of the Day of Courage and National Unity of the Republic - November 23.

President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev is holding a meeting on the twenty-second meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission (IGC) on socio-economic cooperation between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation, which will be held in Tskhinval on November 17.
