Ensuring the security of the population along the borders is the important task of the Geneva discussions on security in Transcaucasia, the EU co-chair Toivo Klaar noted at the briefing in Tskhinval.

The Georgian citizen Paata Arakelovi, who violated the state border of South Ossetia the day before, has been expelled from the Republic on Monday, the press service of the KGB of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.
The citizen was expelled to Georgia in accordance with Article 14 of the Law of the Republic of South Ossetia “On the State Border”.
