On Saturday, the exhibition "The Cruel Truth about the crimes of the Kiev regime", dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the beginning of the Ukrainian anti-terrorist operation in Donbas, opened on the Theater Square of Tskhinval.
The event was opened by the head of Rossotrudnichestvo in Tskhinval, Sergei Komissarov and Ambassador at Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Rodion Miroshnik.
Tskhinval paid last tributes to Rudolf Tskhovrebov, perished during the special military operation in Ukraine.
According to the press service of the head of state, the leadership of the Republic, headed by President Alan Gagloev, representatives of law enforcement agencies, colleagues and friends of the deceased came to see off the fighter on his last journey.
By the decree of the head of state, Rudolf Tskhovrebov was posthumously awarded the Medal “Defender of the Fatherland.”
Russia is the guarantor of peace and security for South Ossetia, with the recognition of which peace has been established in the Republic, the head of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of South Ossetia, Akhsar Dzhioev noted at the meeting with Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik.
On Saturday, the Ambassador will make a presentation in Tskhinval at the event marking the 10th anniversary of the start of the Anti-Terrorist Operation in Donbass by Ukraine.
The Days of Culture of South Ossetia in Crimea will be held at the end of August - early September, Minister of Culture of the Republic Rada Dzagoeva said.
“We are currently studying the issue of organizing the Days of Culture of South Ossetia in Crimea,” the head of the Ministry of Culture has noted.
According to Dzagoeva, the Days of Culture of Crimea in South Ossetia, at the request of the Crimean colleagues will be held in 2025.

Representatives of South Ossetia, Abkhazia and Russia expressed concern about the growing NATO presence on the Georgian territory, the increase in military training activities and the intensification of efforts to integrate Georgia into the North Atlantic Military Alliance.
