South Ossetia is demonstrating growing attractiveness to investors, actively creating new enterprises and jobs. This was announced at the briefing on Friday by Chairman of the Organizing Committee for preparation and holding of the International Forum, Taimuraz Goginov.

According to him, the Republic is ready to offer the so-called "investment lots" to the interested parties at the Forum - specially prepared projects developed by Ministry of Economic Development jointly with the Organizing Committee.

President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev held a meeting with the participant of the special military operation Dmitry Alborov, the press service of the head of state reports.

The 1st International Economic Forum "South Ossetia. Investment Horizons" has announced its business program.

The event will be holding from September 18 to 20 in the city of Tskhinval. The Forum will become a key platform for discussing strategies for socio-economic development of the Republic and the investment potential of international cooperation.

The business program is divided into three blocks, each of which will have a separate day.

The Embassy of South Ossetia in Russia took part in the opening ceremony of the IV International Children's Cultural Forum.

The Forum has become a platform for wide communication between the gifted children from Russia and 14 countries. One of the brightest participants of the event was the youth from South Ossetia led by a choreographer Kosta Dzhioev.

Counselor-Minister of the Embassy Zara Valieva, delegated to the event, wished the creative team success and the implementation of their plans.

Employees of the Artseu Department of Internal Affairs detained the Georgian citizen who had illegally crossed the border of South Ossetia.

As reported by the press service of the Interior Ministry of South Ossetia, the violator of the state border was detained by the law enforcement officers the previous evening while patrolling the territory of the village of Artseu.

The identity of the man has been established; he turned out to be a 33-year-old citizen of Georgia.

The detainee was transferred to the KGB of the Republic of South Ossetia.

The presentation of the first national banknote of South Ossetia in denomination of one hundred Zarin will take place within the framework of the I International Economic Forum for the 35th anniversary of the Republic.

The presentation of the coin dedicated to the 35th anniversary of establishing of the Republic of South Ossetia is also planned for the anniversary of the Republic, the bank's press service told IA "Res".

"The commemorative coin and banknote will be presented by September 20," the agency's interlocutor has specified.
