South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov signed a charter of pardon of three Georgian citizens who were serving a sentence in the Tskhinval jail.
As reported to IA "Res" by the national law enforcement agency, the citizens of Georgia had been arrested earlier mainly due to violation of the state border of South Ossetia.
An extraordinary meeting of the Council of the South Ossetian-Bulgarian Friendship Society under the chairmanship of the head of the society, Candidate of History, associate professor Robert Gagloev has been held in Tskhinval in connection with the act of terror in Bulgaria.
Yesterday a meeting of the South Ossetian delegation at the Geneva talks on security with the co-chairs of the OSCE, EU and UN was held in Tskhinval. Co-chairs of the Geneva discussions, representing the OSCE, EU and UN, arrived in South Ossetia. In Tskhinval the co-chairmen were received by the South Ossetian delegation at the Geneva talks on Security in Transcaucasia, led by the head of the delegation of South Ossetia Boris Chochiev.
Broad spectrum of issues, including security and humanitarian issues was discussed at today's meeting of co-chairs of the Geneva discussions with members of the South Ossetian delegation. As reported by Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement, Murat Dzhioev in the course of the briefing, special attention was paid to the situation in Zardiantkari in connection with placing the Georgian police post near the border of South Ossetia.

A statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, issued July 16, 2012, expressed concern about the visit of Commander-in- Chief of the RF Land Forces, Colonel-General Vladimir Chirkin, to South Ossetia, who allegedly "in violation of the state border of Georgia arrived in the regions of Georgia, occupied by Russia, -Abkhazia and the Tskhinval region".
Prime Minister of South Ossetia Rostik Khugaev held a meeting with the Director General of the Limited Company "EnergostroyServis" of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania Peter Kochiev and with Chief Engineer of the Limited Company "EnergoService" of Kabardino-Balkaria Republic Akhmet Kanukov. In Tskhinval the spokesmen of the European Union (Philippe Lefort), OSCE (Podrig Murphy) and the UN (Antti Turunen) will meet with members of the South Ossetian delegation at the Geneva discussions.
Tomorrow, July 17, a soloist of the Bolshoi, Mariinsky and Novosibirsky Theatres, the world opera star Veronica Dzhioeva will give a solo concert in the capital of South Ossetia -Tskhinval.
As reported to IA "Res" by one of the organizers of the concert, a stage director Tamerlan Dzutstsev, it will be a charity concert,its program will include arias from operas by Russian and foreign composers.
Professional boxer from South Ossetia Murat Gassiev will hold his next rating fight on July24.
