A mourning rally dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Ered tragedy was held in South Ossetia.

The memorial event began with a ceremony of laying flowers at the grave of the victims of the tragedy.

The leadership of the Republic, headed by Acting President Konstantin Dzhussoev, the Russian Ambassador to South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov, representatives of ministries, departments, relatives of the murdered and the public came to honor the memory of 12 civilians brutally killed by the Georgian armed forces.

In connection with the 34th anniversary of the Ered tragedy, the Embassy of South Ossetia in Russia sent a message to all diplomatic missions accredited in the Russian Federation, as well as to the Georgian Interests Section at the Embassy of Switzerland, dedicated to the criminal act of genocide against the peaceful Ossetian population on March 18, 1991.

The Embassy has reminded that on March 18, 1991, a brutal crime was committed against the Ossetian people by the Georgian government.

The Day of the "Crimean Spring" will always be a reminder that the strength of the people is in unity and cohesion, President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev noted in his congratulation to the head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov in connection with the reunification with the Russian Federation.

Gagloev has emphasized that more than ten years ago, the residents of the peninsula showed the whole world the strength of the Crimean character, unanimously voting for unity with Russia, for peace and security.

The Treaty of Alliance and Integration between South Ossetia and Russia, signed on March 18, 2015, took bilateral relations to a new level, ensuring a coordinated foreign policy, a single defense space and close cooperation in the security sphere.

The document has both historical and strategic significance for both countries.

The South Ossetian stone processing enterprise Impulse-LLC is participating in Xiamen Stone Fair 2025 — one of the largest international stone industry exhibitions.

The film tells the story of the Ossetian fighters participating in the special military operation.

Chairman of the South Ossetian Parliamentary Committee on Social Policy and Healthcare Alexander Pliev will take part in the VIII International Congress "Balneotherapy in Spa Treatment and Medical Rehabilitation Programs" in Moscow.

The event will be held on March 20-21 in Moscow and will be timed to coincide with the World Water Day, the press service of the legislative body reports.

As noted by Alexander Pliev, the event will be attended by Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko, as well as representatives of foreign countries.
