South Ossetia to ratify treaty on deepening cooperation with Russia on May 21 - Foreign Ministry
The South Ossetian Parliament plans to ratify the Treaty on Deepening Allied Cooperation between Russia and South Ossetia on May 21, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Alimov announced.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev signed a Treaty on May 9 to deepen allied cooperation between the two countries.
"According to available information, our partners plan to ratify it on May 21," Alimov said at the meeting of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs.
