Saakashvili in his interview to the radio station « The Echo of Moscow », repeatedly declared, that Georgia was ready to negotiations with Abkhazia and South Ossetia without preliminary conditions. At the same time the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia has declared, that « henceforth Georgia would participate only in those negotiating processes, the final declarative purpose of which would be the restoration of the territorial integrity of Georgia ». In connection with the tonight`s incident on the southern outskirts of the capital of South Ossetia Republic, Tskhinval, the decision on location of a temporary post since February, 1st, 2007 from 18.00 pm. in the structure of one branch from the Russian peace-making battalion and the observers from the three parties is accepted by the command of the Joint Forces on Peacekeeping in the zone of the georgian-ossetian conflict.
