On the need to strengthen the nutrition of patients and the weakened part of the population of the region, on the transfer of available food supplies to the health reserve. July 14, 1921
Due to general malnutrition, due to the food crisis, the mass of the population is suffering from scurvy, acute anemia, infectious gastrointestinal diseases, and tuberculosis.
In all these cases, dietary and enhanced nutrition is necessary, and therefore the health department finds it necessary in the near future to open a special canteen for dietary nutrition, where weak patients and those in need of enhanced nutrition will receive food.
To organize such a canteen, it is necessary to create a special food fund at the regional public health department, to give rations to people in need of enhanced nutrition, as determined by a commission consisting of doctors, trade union representatives and the labor department. Based on the foregoing, the health department asks to transfer the available reserves of sugar, tea, coffee, rice and cheese to its disposal.
