The Mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is implementing a project to provide micro-economic initiatives.

The governmental delegation of South Ossetia will take part in the XI International Economic Forum in Sochi. This has been declared by President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov at the enlarged session with the Government of the Republic.

The Mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is implementing a project on water supply of the villages of South Ossetia.
As reported to IA "Res" by the assistant of the head of the ICRC office in Tskhinval Wanda Bolotaeva, currently the ICRC Department of Water Supply is constructing the water-supply system in the village of Satikar (Tskhinval district) and Mugut (Znaur district).

A group of activists of youth organizations from South Ossetia visited the VI International Youth educational camp "Donuzlav - 2012" in the Crimea.
As described to IA "Res" by one of the participants of the South Ossetian group Alina Kozaeva, the camp had been held under the slogan: "Youth of the Commonwealth of Independent States - together into the XXI century!"

President of South Ossetian Leonid Tibilov has received a delegation of the Russian Federation, which arrived in the Republic on a working visit.

National Olympic Committee of Georgia expressed a protest to the organizers of the Olympics Games in London, because they had published dossiers of the athletes on their site with mentioning the birthplace of the Russian national team member Besik Kudukhov as South Ossetia, the birthplace of another Russian athlete, Dennis Tsargush - Gudauta and next to the words of South Ossetia and Gudauta in parentheses is added "Russia."
NOC of Georgia is demanding the "immediate revision of the two athletes’ biographies with correction in their birthplace column as Georgia."
In South Ossetia this statement of Georgia has caused, at least, perplexity. The representatives of South Ossetian and Russian experts have commented on the statement of the Georgian NOC to IA "Res".

President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov has received representatives of Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network", which have arrived in the Republic on a working visit. The meeting was also attended by Chairman of the State Committee of Information, Communications and Mass Media Inal Tibilov.
In the course of the meeting were discussed prospects of development of digital television broadcasting in the country and issues of further systematic work on its implementation.

The governmental delegation of South Ossetia will pay a visit to the Russian Federation to participate in the working sessions on issues of further cooperation between the countries in the field of socio-economic development.
This has been reported to IA "Res" by a press secretary of the President of South Ossetia Gana Yanovskaya.

Three Georgian citizens, who were detained earlier in the territory of South Ossetia for illegal crossing the state border, have been transferred today to the Georgian authorities.

Comment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia in connection with the situation in Syria

An expanding crisis in Syria has caused a growing concern in South Ossetia. The reports, coming from this country, indicate the new armed incidents, bloody acts of terror in Damascus and numerous civilian casualties. Syria is going through difficult times, first of all, because of the so-called foreign well-wishers, who on the one hand, proclaim democracy, and on the other -arm the rebels, thus, clearly pushing the warring parties to further fierce and relentless confrontation. Therefore, the public of Tskhinval considers that this kind of initiative and external interference may be deliberately harmful.
