In South Ossetia reacted skeptically to the initiatives voiced in Georgia regarding raising the status of participants in the Geneva discussions from the Georgian side.
As reported to the news agency "Res" by the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy of the RSO for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev, "the main thing is not who represents the Georgian side at the Geneva discussions, but for the Georgian delegation to have both the authority and the desire to work on the elaboration of legally binding agreements between Georgia and South Ossetia, Georgia and Abkhazia."

South Ossetia made the absolutely right decision by recognizing the independence of the DPR and the LPR - said President of the Republic Anatoly Bibilov at a press conference in Tskhinval.
According to Bibilov, today the scenario of Abkhazia and South Ossetia is repeated in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.
"What happened in South Ossetia is directly proportional to what is happening today in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. And we perfectly understand what assistance today is needed for these Republics," - the president said.

President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov has met with the delegation of the Russian Federation led by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Khloponin who has arrived in the Republic to participate in the 18th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission for Socio- Economic Cooperation between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation.
Anatoly Bibilov welcomed the guests, also congratulating them on the Constitution Day of the Russian Federation.

The head of state has noted that the relations between the two republics are dynamically developing.

Citizens of South Ossetia, regardless of party affiliation, must jointly promote the revival of the Republic, said President Anatoly Bibilov at a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution.
"We need to work together to ensure that our children are happy and live under a peaceful sky. Our society should strive to ensure that every young person is educated and found his way in later life, "- said Bibilov.
The Head of the Republic noted the importance of this historic date, celebrated in the post-Soviet space.

President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov has received representatives of the Israeli community of Tskhinval, who from 1990 to 1996 moved to permanent residence in the State of Israel.
Bibilov has welcomed the members of the community, noting that the situation that developed in the 1990s in South Ossetia was not favorable not only for the Jews, but for all the inhabitants of the Republic.

The exhibition of Ossetian artists "Atrium" has been opened in the Crystal Hall of the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Prague, told IA "Res" an organizer, Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, laureate of the Russian Academy of Arts Vadim Pukhaev.
According to him, at the exhibition are presented the paintings and graphic works of Ossetian artists and pupils of the Republican Lyceum of Arts of the city of Vladikavkaz.
"The purpose of the exhibition is the promotion of Ossetian national culture and art in European countries," Pukhaev said.

Gala reception on the occasion of the 9th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation was held in Tskhinval.
The Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic Peter Gassiev has congratulated those present on the occasion and has expressed confidence that all-round cooperation between Russia and South Ossetia will continue to be strengthened and developed in the interests of the peoples of both countries.

In Prague will be opened an exhibition of works by Ossetian artists "Atrium", - told IA "Res" the organizer of the event, Honored Artist of RNO-Alania, laureate of the prize of the Russian Academy of Arts Vadim Pukhaev.
According to him, the exposition will open on September 8 at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Prague.
"During the exhibition, visitors will be able to see more than 40 picturesque and graphic works of the South Ossetian artists, students and teachers of the Republican Lyceum of Arts of the city of Vladikavkaz," Pukhaev specified.
