IN THE ZONE OF THE GOERGIAN-OSSETIAN CONFLICT WERE BEATEN THREE PEACEKEEPERS

On 28 September, around 20:30, near a Georgian village Avnevi, seven unknown people in masks and black uniform of the Special Forces of the Georgian Ministry of Defense, armed with automatic weapons fired white vehicle “Niva” that belonged to the North Ossetian peacekeeping battalion of the JPKF. The vehicle was driven by Gamlet Kudziev, the passengers were Soslan Tasoev and Konstantin Pukhaev with his wife and child. The unarmed peacekeepers were taken out of the vehicle and beaten up severely. After that the attackers disappeared.
The Military Prosecutor’s office instituted a criminal case as per art. 360 and 112 of the Russian Federation Criminal Code – attack on people or buildings that have international protection and causing deliberate harm for health motivated by ethnic hatred and enmity.
