The Deputy Prime-Minister of the Government of South Ossetia Republic, the Co-chairman of the south-ossetian part of JCC Boris Chochiev has met the commissioner of the Council of Europe under human rights Thomas Hammarberg.
Boris Chochiev has handed over to Thomas Hammarberg the package of documents, confirming the policy of genocide of the Georgian authorities against the ossetian population, as to South Ossetia, so in Georgia. Boris Chochiev has also expressed regret in occasion of the earlier taken place meeting of Thomas Hammarberg with the representatives of the kurta-kekhvi authorities on behalf of Dmitriy Sanakoev. The ossetian party has applied so that to the sessions of the Council of Europe would have been invited not only the representatives of Georgia, but also the representatives of South Ossetia Republic. Thomas Hammarberg has thanked for the materials on the genocide of the ossetian people from the georgian side and has promised, that they would be used in his report.
