As it has already been informed by the news agency "Res", on October, 21st the georgian special services have kidnapped the inhabitant of Znaur region of the Republic South Ossetia Ivan Bestaev. The correspondent of «Res» has addressed for comments on the given incident to the co-chairman of the Joint Control Commission from the south-ossetian side Boris Chochiev. To his words, in the Republic of South Ossetia they expected that the georgian side would make something similar.
«All the might-have-been sessions of the Joint Control Commission have been frustrated as a result of the various provocations of the georgian power structures, which with persistence, worthy of best use, make all the efforts to destabilize the situation in the zone of the georgian-ossetian conflict and to neutralize the negotiating process. Nevertheless, the session of JCC, planned on October, 23rd-24th at the Tbilisi embassy of the Mission of OSCE, will take place and we shall raise the question about the illegal arrest of the citizens of the republic by the georgian side and the non-observance of elementary human rights», Boris Chochiev has told.
