Today morning Ossetian checkpoint located in RSO Znaur district Okona village was bombarded from Georgian side. The fire was delivered with heavy mortars within 40 minutes by Georgian Defense Ministry special detachment which arrived there half an hour earlier.
After 40 minutes from the beginning of bombardment Ossetian side was forced to open a reciprocal fire and Georgian special detachment had to depart in hurry.
OSCE Mission representatives and JPKF military observers monitoring group set off to the spot.
