Georgian side is equipping fortifications in immediate proximity from the capital of the Republic of South Ossetia Tskhinval. As IA «Res» correspondent was informed at RSO MIA press-service the construction works were conducted near the Ergneti village.
«During two days Georgian militaries conducted equipment of fortifications at the Ergnety village. The construction works are being done very fast, what can not but trouble the Ossetian population. JPKF is aware of this»-informed at the MIA press-service.
To remind, on the night on 15 June Tskhinval was intensively shelled from the side of Georgian village Ergneti. Besides that, the monitoring conducted by peacekeepers in common with the OSCE representatives on 14 June 2008 revealed newly equipped dug-out at the Georgian village of Medjriskhevi. Also another illegal post of Georgian police with the weapon emplacement was found.
