About 100 agreements have been signed between the Russian Federation and South Ossetia, noted President of the Republic of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov after the meeting with Vladimir Putin.
According to Bibilov, several more serious agreements are being prepared for signing, which concern the simplified acquisition of citizenship of the Russian Federation, and the staying of citizens of South Ossetia on the territory of Russia without a time limit.
"There are a lot of agreements that will be aimed at developing the socio- economic component of the Republic of South Ossetia," the Kremlin press service quoted the words of the South Ossetian president.
Anatoly Bibilov also spoke about the increase in the Republic's own revenues and the economic development of South Ossetia.
"South Ossetia is taking quite serious steps to increase its own revenues. There are already objects that have started working and will soon bring income to the state budget. The progressive development of the Republic of South Ossetia, the progressive development of our bilateral relations can only please, "said the President of the Republic.
